Sustainable Planet – VET Education for the Global Goal: PLANET GOALS

The Planet Goals project addresses the urgent need to equip VET educators and learners with knowledge, skills, and values aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring that vocational education adapts to ongoing social, environmental, and digital transformations.

Planet Goals aims to develop a replicable and accessible educational platform that fosters innovative teaching practices on sustainability, alongside a comprehensive handbook for educators and interactive platform-based workshops that promote SDG competences in real learning contexts.

The project leverages digital learning, interactive resources, and experiential methodologies to strengthen educators’ competences, improve the attractiveness of VET, and promote pro-social and pro-environmental attitudes among students and stakeholders.

In parallel, Planet Goals supports educator capacity building through training on the project’s resources, enabling them to design innovative, engaging, and SDG-oriented learning pathways adaptable to diverse learner profiles.

Ultimately, the project will enhance the ability of VET systems to respond to labour market needs while empowering learners to actively contribute to sustainable societies.
